The focus of the annual Purdue Policy Research Institute’s Policy Research for a Changing World “Grand Challenge” Conference is to highlight Purdue research in grand challenge policy areas across many disciplines. The research involves one or more of PPRI’s seven thematic areas:

  1. agriculture
  2. environment
  3. energy
  4. economics
  5. health
  6. security
  7. society and leadership

These research findings will be used to form an integrated holistic approach to informing policymakers regarding global policy research issues with the goal of strengthening connections between science and society.
