Abstract
This study compares mangers' perceptions of political, government policy, and macroeconomic uncertainties with the ratings provided by a professional rish assessment service. Survey data from six Latin American countries indicate rank orderings of the coutnries based on managers' uncertainty perceptions differ fromt he professional rish assessment ranking.
