Abstract

The evolution of digital technologies has led to many changes in the way the world operates, especially when it comes to publishing. There are a multitude of new approaches that publishers can adopt in order to create a more efficient, creative way to present scientific research. In this presentation, the CEO of Macmillan discusses many of these approaches that the company is taking to establish a more user-centered experience. These projects include the creation of tools to aid scientists in keeping up-to-date with scientific research, tracking and storing their own research and making it available to others, organizing their data and supplies, and planning experiments in a more effective way.
